Sunrize Highway, "a loving satire of the great divas of contemporary
musical theater", is the creation of Joseph Ritsch. Ritsch, a graduate
of The University of Maine School of Performing Arts and the Playwrights
Horizons Gradute Conservatory, has worked professionally as an actor,
dancer, and singer in NYC, across the US and in Europe.

Sunrize's musical extravaganzas feature all live singing of unique
renditions from Broadway and beyond, interspersed with Ms. Highway's
whimsical reflections, winsome musings, sage advice, cautionary tales
and insightful showbiz stories.

Sunrize has headlined in NYC, LA, Provincetown and Puerto Varllarta,
Mexico, as well as numerous other venues across the country and in
Canada. Her productions have had critical acclaim from NY Newsday, Time
Out NY, HX Magazine to name a few, and most recently, SUNRIZE: The
7-Foot, Redheaded Musical Comedy Hit was chosen as a "Best Bet" for the
National Gay & Lesbian Theater Festival by the Columbus Dispatch.

Sunrize has also been a staple of the New York club scene for several
years. She has performed in such establishments as Splash Bar, View Bar,
The Monster, Therapy, OW Bar, Barracuda, Twirl, The Slide, Heaven, XL,
Plaid, Flamingo East, and Posh to name a few. She has also been a
celebrity presenter at both the HX Awards and The Glammy Awards, as well
as performing at the Gay Life Expo. Ms. Highway also performed for
three "sold out" years as the headliner for the Martha Jefferson Cruise
Line, in Port Jefferson NY.
